Have you ever wondered why your most successful months can be immediately followed by your worst ones?
Where as soon as everything starts to flow perfectly, clients are saying yes, money is coming in—and then suddenly…
Your stomach churns every time you think about your big financial goals.
Your heart then starts racing during pricing conversations.
Your shoulders start carrying more tension that won’t release.
What if I told you this isn’t a coincidence?
What if your body is warning you about the thoughts you’ve been thinking and feeling?
What if this is a sign that you are about to self-sabotage before you derail your success?
I used to think these physical reactions were just “part of business.”
Always tense during sales calls.
Always exhausted after big wins.
Feeling like my body was working against me every time I wanted to grow.
I’d hit a good month and then mysteriously find ways to mess it up the next month. Sound familiar?
Here’s what I didn’t know back then:
My unconscious was running an invisible income ceiling—sabotaging my results any time I got close to my unconscious “safety ceiling.”

What’s Really Keeping You Broke in Business (And How to Turn It Around)
Here’s the Truth: We Don’t Stay Broke Because We Can’t Make Money
Consider, if you are already making money in your business, then most often it isn’t that you don’t know how to make money,
You stay broke because broke feels safe.
The pain you know feels less threatening than the potential you don’t know.
But here’s what most business advice gets completely wrong: They tell you how to make money, but not how to handle the emotional reality of what it actually takes to have it.
The real issue isn’t your business strategy, your pricing, or your marketing.
The real issue is that you don’t believe you can handle your next level of success.
You’re unconsciously sabotaging your income because deep down, you think more money will cost you:
- Your personal life, family life, health, friendships, or free time
- More people, more team, more visibility, and therefore more responsibility
- Changes that come with real financial success that you can’t handle
What you’re actually afraid of isn’t failure—it’s success.
Consider…Your Body Knows You’re About to Self-Sabotage (Before Your Mind Does)
Here are the 5 Hidden Patterns Your Body Uses to Keep You Broke
Pattern #1: You Have an Income Thermostat
Your brain has a secret set point for how much money feels safe to you. Hit it and you’ll unconsciously cool things down. Miss it, and you’ll panic into action.
The key: You’re not managing your business—you’re managing your comfort zone.
Pattern #2: You Have a Brake on Having Breakthroughs
You sabotage right before success by either getting distracted by a shiny object, or you stop following through with your hot leads, underprice big projects, or never increase your prices even though you have demand.
This isn’t procrastination. This is your programming. This is your nervous system hitting an emergency brake before the “dangers” of success.
Pattern #3: You Have a Worthiness War Going On Inside
There’s that part of you—your ego or protective self—that doesn’t believe you deserve significant financial success. Maybe you think good people shouldn’t care about money, or you fear you’re not ready for this level of responsibility, or you worry: What if financial success changes you or changes the people you love, and they don’t like you anymore?
It all feels noble, but this is all just your protective self wearing a virtue costume.
Pattern #4: You Have a Spotlight Trap
Making big money puts you in the spotlight, and spotlights attract critics. So you dim your light to avoid their judgments, not realizing you’re trading your financial freedom for their comfort.
The Truth is they’re going to have opinions about you anyway.
So, you can be broke and judged, or rich and judged. Choose rich. It’s way better.
Pattern #5: You Have an Identity Gap
Your current identity doesn’t match the income level you most want. Until you see yourself differently and operate as someone who naturally earns that kind of money, your subconscious mind will keep you recreating broke patterns over and over again–just to have you feel like yourself.
The key: You’re playing business and life at an amateur level. You gotta go to the elite level.
Real-World Example: How This Shows Up
Here’s what happens when someone says “your prices are too high”:
Old way (broke software):
“Oh, I’m so sorry. Maybe we could work something out? Perhaps I could lower this just this one time, or maybe I could do a longer payment plan? I know it’s a lot.”
Internal state: Panic, desperation because your income thermostat hit the emergency brake.
New way (millionaire software):
“I really understand. Investment decisions take consideration, and based on the results you’re looking to achieve, this actually reflects the transformation necessary for the value you’re wanting, and I guarantee it.”
Internal state: Calm, confident, magnetic energy which reflects your confidence and certainty.
See the difference? Your energy completely changes what people hear.
When you know…
