Why The Way Out is Through

Share Via:

Remember that betrayal we talked about in the last email?

The one that’s been secretly sabotaging your business?

Well, I’ve got news for you. The way out isn’t what you think.

Most of the time we try to “power through” these painful experiences.

OR

We bury ourselves in work, trying to avoid thinking about them,

OR

We try distracting ourselves using the next shiny business strategy,

OR

We think we just need to put up walls or boundaries, all to try to protect ourselves from it ever happening again.

Yet in doing this how much freer do we actually feel?

None.

Right?

The Truth: Suppression isn’t strength. It’s a ticking time bomb.

Every time you push down the hurt, every time you try to “just get over it, every time you try to numb the pain with distractions, you’re not actually healing.

Consider, You’re compounding the wound.

So what’s the solution?

Brace yourself, because it’s counterintuitive: The way out is through.

That’s right.

To truly heal and grow, you need to process the experience so that you grow bigger than it.

FEEL it. Examine it. To Understand it.

I know, I know. It sounds painful.

Scary, even.

But here’s why it works:

  1. Acknowledgment breaks the power of shame
  2. Understanding the trigger helps you develop new skill sets on how to respond, not react
  3. Processing the emotion releases its hold on you
  4. Examining the experience objectively reveals valuable gifts or lessons

Imagine facing your next business challenge without the weight of past betrayals.

Imagine making decisions based on present opportunities, not past fears.

That’s the power of processing, NOT suppressing.

In my years of coaching, I’ve seen entrepreneurs transform their lives and businesses when they are finally willing to process through their buried or suppressed emotions to INSTANTLY FEEL FREE.
